Furniture to CAD block

The piece you actually specified, not the nearest lookalike from a furniture block library.

How it works

01

Upload a picture

Any picture works: one you shoot yourself, a reference from a client, or a sketch you already have.

02

pic2CAD draws the line art

The picture becomes a clean line drawing in a few seconds, ready to check before you spend a credit on it.

03

Download PNG, SVG and DXF

All three formats, every time. Downloading is always free, however many times you need the file.

How pic2CAD helps

The chair, lamp or table you actually specified rarely exists as a ready-made block, so a plan ends up showing the nearest generic match instead of the real piece.

pic2CAD turns a picture of the actual piece into its own block: white fill inside, heavy outline outside, in millimetres, delivered as PNG, SVG and DXF. Once generated it is saved to your account, so it becomes part of your own library rather than a one-off file.

Ideal for

  • Studios that want one specific piece turned into a block today, not a whole catalogue project
  • Interior designers who need the exact piece, not a similar one
  • Furniture makers documenting their own catalogue as CAD blocks
  • Anyone laying out a plan who is tired of the nearest catalogue match

Frequently asked questions

Yes, a chair, a lamp, a table, a shelf, whatever the picture shows. Click the piece you want drawn and only that gets traced.
The DXF is written in millimetres. In Orthographic view you set the real height before generating; in Subject only the block arrives 1 metre tall as a known reference to scale from.
Yes. It is saved to your account once generated, and you can download it again at no cost for the next plan that needs the same piece.
A library gives you the closest match someone else made. This gives you a block of the exact piece from your own picture, in PNG, SVG and DXF.
