pic2CAD is run by two people. Fernando Frank as founder, and Vanessa Larsson backing the project since the earliest prototypes.

The idea came from watching architects trace reference pictures by hand, just to place a person at the right scale in a plan, over and over with the same generic figure. Now that step takes one picture and thirty seconds.
