Upload a picture and click the person you want drawn. pic2CAD isolates them from whatever else is in the shot. Choose how much interior detail you want, set the real height if you are in Orthographic view, and generate. Each generation costs 1 credit and gives you the block in PNG, SVG and DXF; downloads are free.

DXF is the interchange format every CAD package reads (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, ArchiCAD, BricsCAD). Your figure arrives with Outer, Inner and Fill on separate layers, drawn with splines rather than jagged polylines, and dimensioned in millimetres. It is the deliverable the whole product exists for.

It depends on the mode. In Orthographic view you type the real height before generating, and the DXF is written in millimetres at exactly that size. Picture accurate cannot know a reliable height, because a picture taken at an angle makes a person look taller or shorter than they are, so the block arrives exactly 1 metre tall as a known reference: scale it in CAD and you always know what you have, x1.4 gives you 1.40 m. In both modes the feet sit on Y = 0, so the block lands on your floor line with no nudging.

A full-body shot where the person is reasonably sharp and not heavily overlapped by someone else. Busy backgrounds are fine, they get dropped. Very low light, strong motion blur, or a figure that is mostly hidden will show up in the drawing.

Yes, and it is not watermarked. The preview is the real drawing at lower resolution, so you can judge the outline, the line work and the pose before spending anything.

Each time you press Generate. That credit covers the drawing in all three formats: downloads are free, with no extra charge per format, and you can download it again from your account later at no cost. On a paid plan, every drawing then includes a free retry, so regenerating it once costs nothing; on the Free plan every regeneration costs a credit. Without an account you get one free try, shown blurred until you sign up; signing up gives you 3 free drawings a month, and that try counts as the first.

The Free plan gives you 3 free drawings every month, renewing on the day you signed up. On top of that you can buy a pack (they never expire) or take a Creator subscription. Payment is handled by Stripe (card or PayPal) and the receipt arrives by email.

Regenerate it with different settings; changing the detail level or the view often fixes it. On a paid plan, every drawing includes a free retry, so the first one costs nothing and only from the second onwards does another credit come off; on the Free plan every regeneration costs a credit. If we cannot process your picture at all, the credit is refunded automatically.

Yes, on every plan, Free included. Commercial use is included with every download at no surcharge: plans, competition boards, renders, printed material and client deliverables. The one thing you cannot do is resell or redistribute the drawing itself as a stand-alone digital asset.

No. Recognisable public figures are refused under our safety policy. Use pictures of people who are not publicly known, and only with their consent.

Yes. Click whoever you want drawn: one person, or several in the same shot. Only what you select gets traced.

It is uploaded to our server so the drawing can be generated, and it is kept alongside the drawing it produced. Deleting a drawing from your account deletes that picture with it. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
