our Story

pic2CAD is run by two people. Fernando Frank is the founder: he built the whole thing himself, from the first line of code to the DXF you download today. Vanessa Larsson is also part of pic2CAD, backing the project since the earliest prototypes.

The idea came from watching architects trace reference pictures by hand, just to place a person at the right scale in a plan, over and over with the same generic figure. Now that step takes one picture and thirty seconds.
